Manually resolve an invoice
Mark an invoice as settled outside PaidSoon's normal payment sync.
If a client paid you directly (bank transfer, cash, or anything your invoice source won't automatically detect), you can manually resolve the invoice so PaidSoon stops chasing it.
Before you start
Only resolve an invoice once you're confident it's genuinely settled — manually resolving does not record a payment in your accounting software or Stripe; it only stops PaidSoon's reminders.
Steps
- Go to your dashboard's invoice table (
/dashboard). - Select the invoice (or invoices) you want to resolve using the checkboxes.
- Click Resolve in the bulk action bar.
- Click Confirm resolve to finish.
What you'll see
The invoice's status badge changes to Resolved, and it moves out of your active invoice list
into Resolved Invoices (/dashboard/resolved), alongside invoices your source reports as
paid.
What happens next
Resolved invoices no longer receive reminder emails and are excluded from your active overdue totals. They still count toward your all-time collection-rate metric on the dashboard.
This can't be undone from the dashboard
There's currently no "un-resolve" action — if you resolve an invoice by mistake, contact support@paidsoon.com.au.
Common problems
- Invoice reappears as unpaid after resolving — if your invoice source re-syncs and still reports the invoice as outstanding, check with your accounting software directly; PaidSoon reflects what your source reports.
- Accidentally resolved the wrong invoice — contact support@paidsoon.com.au for help.
